Debbie Matz, in her testimony to the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, reiterated that NCUA will provide credit unions with one opportunity to fix any issues uncovered by an exam. If the credit union does not fix the issue within 90 to 120 days, the agency will escalate its enforcement action.
